Today, the artist is in competition with a machine, an algorithm, a calculator. Confronted by the amount of generated AI "art", I decided to reverse the problem and copy AI's M.O., the prompt. Giving it materiality by using different artistic techniques (painting, linocut, ballpen). It's like "Painting the image in the making which is the prompt".

Art is now virtual, so is my exhibit, copy the prompts, paste in AI and it will generate it's version of my exhibit.

Where is my work in all of this? It's the idea. Without my idea, the AI could not generate an image spontaneously. Though "intellegente", it lacks the ability to reflect by itself, something us humans can still do, for a limited time.

The posters are AI generations of my physical prompts. They have two things in common, the contain song lyrics and a criticism of contemporary society.

The fan is a reference to the heat with this summer in Europe. There is a debate on putting A.C. in major cities like Paris, but although convenient, it's only adding to he problem. Convenience is the enemy

I put a spell on you. The graphic style is a tribute to Ghanian handpainted bootleg movie posters, that just go overboard with extravagantic exagerations. The poster depicts Tech Bros, praying and beging their all powerful AI to spare them by giving it their precious money. The kitten is purely gratuitous.

A criticisim of people who use photo filters and change their apperance online. This heavy dorky teenager posing as Micheal Angelo's David, can only wish he were as ripped as David
